About MemberLoop

We want membership in every Canadian association to pay for itself.

MemberLoop is an integrated member benefits platform for Canadian associations. Members save on things they already buy, such as phone plans, software, banking and travel, inside their own association's portal.

The benefits portal is free for the association. Vendors pay a commission on each sale, and a share comes back to the association as non-dues revenue.

Why we built it

Associations work hard to give members a reason to renew. Many offer a discount program run by an outside provider. Members leave for that provider's website, the provider keeps the vendor commissions, and the association learns little about what its members value.

At the same time, dues are asked to cover more each year, and boards want revenue that does not come from raising them.

MemberLoop keeps member savings inside the association's own brand and login, and sends a share of what members spend back to the association that brought them together.

Why it's called MemberLoop

Member is who it serves. Loop is what happens to the money: member spending comes back around to the association instead of leaving for good.

How we work

The association's brand leads
Members see the association's name and sign in with its login. MemberLoop appears only as a small Powered by mark.
Free for associations
There is no fee to set up or run an association's benefits portal. Vendors pay a commission only when members buy, and a share comes back to the association.
No member lists for sale
We collect only what the program needs. We never sell member data or give vendors an association's member list. A vendor sees a member's details only when that member buys from them, like any customer.
Vendors chosen for fit
We look for vendors that matter in members' working lives, not the longest list. Each association chooses which offers to feature, and can add deals with its own partners.
Only real numbers
We report what members saved and what each association earned. We do not publish a figure we cannot back up.
