Offer guidelines

Members trust what they find in their association's portal. These guidelines keep it that way, and they're what we check before an offer goes live.

What every offer needs

Real member value
Something better than what anyone can get publicly: a member price, a discount, a longer trial, a waived fee or cashback. A public promotion with a new name doesn't qualify.
Available in Canada
You sell to, ship to or serve customers across Canada, or clearly say which provinces the offer covers. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
Clear terms
Who is eligible, how to redeem, when it ends and any exclusions, in plain language. No conditions hidden in the checkout.
Trackable
Sales can be attributed through Awin, Impact, PartnerStack, a tracked link or member codes. If we can't track it, we can't pay commission on it.
Honest wording
No 'up to' savings you can't support, no countdown pressure, no claims we can't check. We may edit wording to match the portal's plain style, and you approve the final text.
Supported
You handle orders, service and returns under your normal policies and Canadian consumer protection law.
In English and French
Portals run in both languages. Give us your offer text in French as well, or approve our translation. Offers aimed at members in Quebec need it.

Categories members use most

We prioritize things professionals already buy, for themselves or for their practice.

  • Phone and internet plans
  • Practice and business software
  • Banking and financial services
  • Insurance
  • Travel, car rental and hotels
  • Continuing education and professional development
  • Office equipment and supplies
  • Health and wellness
  • Retail and home

Regulated categories

Insurance, investments, lending and some health services are regulated by the provinces. We work only with providers licensed where they sell, and the member works with you directly: MemberLoop doesn't give advice, quote or sell on your behalf.

You remain responsible for your licensing, disclosures and suitability obligations. Expect a longer review, and tell us about these offers in your application.

What we don't accept

To protect members and the associations that invite us in, we don't list:

  • Gambling, betting and lotteries
  • Tobacco, vaping and cannabis
  • Adult content
  • Payday loans and high-interest short-term credit
  • Speculative investments, including cryptocurrency trading
  • Multi-level marketing and recruitment schemes
  • Weapons
  • Offers that ask members for personal information unrelated to the purchase

Your brand, and the association's

How your offer appears
With your company name and logo, inside the association's portal. Members see the association's brand first and yours on the offer.
Association names and logos
Don't use an association's name or logo in your own marketing without that association's written permission.
Describing the program
You can say your offer is available to members of associations on MemberLoop. Don't call it an endorsement unless the association has agreed to endorse it.

What to send us

Logo
SVG, or a PNG with a transparent background at least 400 px wide.
Offer text
A title, a two or three sentence description and the terms, in English and French if you have them.
Offer details
The landing page or tracking link, any member code, the start and end dates and the category.
Sponsored creative
For a sponsored placement only: a landscape image at least 1600 × 900 px. Keep words out of the image, since the headline is set as text so it works in both languages.
